Have you ever heard a girl say, "I have too many bras."
Really? No! A girl can never have too many. Ever.
I was getting dressed for my friend's wedding shower tonight and the collection of bras on my doorknob struck me - especially since my ex bitched and moaned any time I hung stuff on a doorknob. (But he expected me to overlook his piles of programming books. Everywhere. And clothes from high school filling our closet. But that's another post for a different day.)
The collection reminded me of how important bras are to feeling put together. My good friend shared one day that her ex-roommate borrowed her brand new Victoria's Secret white bra and thong. The tags were still on, and she never asked - or told - my friend she was borrowing them. Really girls? Tragic. Bras are sacred, and not intended to share (not to mention thongs!).
When I moved into my new place, the bras found a home on my closet doorknob. My closet is where I get dressed. I can see everything and grab the one I want fast. That's important since I'm always running a minute or two late.
And each one serves a purpose. Some are for plunging necklines while others have straps that adjust, or come off, for whatever shape top. Others just feel sexy. And it's always fun to match with the fav panties to feel ultra special.
But I'm missing something. I need a new one. It's fall now and black is the only autumn-ish color represented. Maybe a leopard print?
Is wild cat the way to go or something else? Let me know what's missing.
And wear what you feel pretty in. Always.
Love to the single girls,
Addison
